Chloe had spent the morning getting out of town, after what had happened it had left her uneasy about a lot of things. But she was recovering quickly mentally. She had talked to her boss after getting a different case, made a lie about how she couldn't help with the Michael case, something along the lines of not being ready for a case that big. And since she was new Chief had been kind enough to give her a less difficult case, one that also hadn't been solved yet and needed extra people on it. But it didn't seem like the supernatural case, so she was happy to take It. Now an hour into her drive she knew she needed something a little bit stronger than the water in her water bottle. While driving she had realized that it wasn't all fields, their were two buildings- one was a large building, with another building directly next it only smaller and the other was a gas station, although the gas station was further away. The blonde had checked her gas, and she was fine for right now. But she really wanted that drink. Turning into the big building she noticed their were a lot of cars their, maybe it was a restaurant- she hoped it was. As her car parked she had gotten out, walking into the building and stopping as she took in the view. A small bar was placed to the left of the establishment, but it wasn't anything fancy. It definitely wasn't a restaurant. "Nice outfit Chloe." Some girl had said, walking by her while wearing almost the same close. "Do I know you?" Chloe questioned confused and the girl juts laughed and kept walking. The blonde looked around to see others dressed similarly. Her eyes wondered to the back of a leather jacket, he looked like- Dean. The blonde walked up to him. "Dean, thank goodness." But as the guy turned around, she realized that it wasn't Dean, just someone with the same jacket. "Oh sorry.. I was uh looking for someone." The guy just smiled at her and nodded. "That's a good costume." With that she was even more confused, looking around as she saw this all over. Their was also another set of people dressed up like each other, but she didn't know who the male could be. Taking a deep breath she decided to look around a little bit before calling anyone. Chloe couldn't help but smile slightly as she saw a sign that said "Supernatural Convention." But then it disappeared as she saw everyone rushing somewhere. "The LARPing will start in about an hour people!" A superficial guy had suddenly said and that had gotten Chloe even more confused. Suddenly she picked up her phone and dialed the number. 'Calling Dean Winchester ' It read as she put the phone to her ear, she didn't know if he had picked up or if it was a voicemail but she was in a rush. "Dean something's going on... I'm in the country outside of town and theirs this weird Supernatural Convention thing and theirs people dressed up like you... Me... I don't know what's going on but I would really appreciate you getting your ass down here... I'm at ______(Address)_______." Chloe had taken a breath as her eyes kept looking around to see what else was going on.

OOC: I basically just added Chloe also into the 'books/comics' just to make it more fun

"He'll be fine." Dean dropped his duffel bag into the back seat of the Impala and then slammed the door. Sam glanced over his shoulder at the mental hospital they were leaving and felt a pang of guilt. Cas was in there, loonier than ever, having just transferred all of Sam's mental issues to himself. Sure, not seeing Lucifer anymore was a plus, but at what cost? Dean elbowed Sam in the ribs gently to regain his attention. "He wanted to do it Sam. For you. And besides, Meg is there. She'll watch out for him and give us progress reports." What a weird thing to say. No less than six months ago, Meg had been gunning for them like other demons. She had nearly killed the boys and innocent civilians in an attempt to bring Lucifer back and now, she was on their side? It was hard to wrap their heads around but she had proven herself more than once in these last few weeks.

Dean was just about to open the drivers-side door of the Impala when his phone buzzed. He flipped it open and pressed it to one ear. Before he could get a single word out, someone was rambling about costumes and some kind of convention. He was barely focusing on the actual words, trying to place where he knew the voice from. It hit him after a minute. Chloe. The fed he had worked with roughly six months ago and whose parents had died by way of demons. She rattled off the address. It was then that the full effect of her words hit him like a brick. A supernatural convention. Even after all that had happened at the first one and even after Chuck basically vanishing from their radar...they were still holding those freaking things??! Dean set his jaw grimly.

"We're on our way."

Chloe had hit the end call button quickly and looked for someone who wasn't dressed like a super freak. Her eyes met someone else's, someone who had looked at her with wide opened eyes and then looked away. Deming this as suspicious her combat booted feet had walked up to him. "Hey.. Uh do you have any idea what this is?" She questioned and as the guy had tried to speak a shorter brunette girl had popped out behind him with a wide set smile. "Chloe!?" She had let out and if the blonde hadn't been trained how to stay calm at moments of overwhelming confusion she would've probably punched everyone and ran away by now... Not that sounded the least bit logical. "Uh Hi, who are you?" The blonde questioned, tilting her head as her pony tail moved with it. "Can you give us a minute sweat-pea?" The guy had asked the brunette before she had the chance to answer, but the brunette didn't seem the least bit upset. This was weird. Chloe hadn't seen Dean in about six months, so why she had called him must had thrown him off, although he still seemed to be their. "I'm Chuck." The guy had said awkwardly, and Chloe had thrown her hands up in the air. "I'm Chloe!" She said beginning to get aggravated.

The brothers made it to the convention in a record time. Scattered through the parking lot, like the previous convention they had been forced to attend, were several Impalas. None were anywhere near as well cared for or loved as Dean's baby. They were purely for show. "Deep breath" Sam had reminded his brother who was starting to look edgy as they reached the front door. "I'm trying" Dean returned flatly. He would never ever set foot in another one of these conventions so long as he lived but Chloe had sounded panicked and desperate. Two things both Winchesters had a hard time ignoring, no matter who the person was.

Stepping inside, they were hit with the same bizarre sights that had been forced upon them two years ago at the first annual convention. Dean's breath caught in his throat as someone dressed as Bobby walked by. Sam's eyes were glassy. Obviously, neither was over the fact that Bobby had died mere months ago and this was not helping. "Look, there's Chloe" Dean pointed out, deliberately looking away from the "Bobby" LARPer. Sam squinted. "Wait a second...is that..." They swapped bewildered looks. "Chuck" Dean hollered as they approached. Half of him wanted to pull the prophet/writer into a hug after not having seen or heard from him in two years. The other half wanted to punch him for those very same reasons. Chuck lost all color in his face. "Uh...guys?" His voice was insecure. "What the hell happened to you?" Chuck toed the ground awkwardly, scratching the base of his neck. "I've uh...been writing." Sam and Dean's expressions tightened dangerously.

"Writing what?"

Chloe was just about to yell at the guy when suddenly a familiar voice found it's way. They had definitely sped to get here. Her eyes looked at Dean and she took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. "You two know this son of a bitch?" She asked, almost bewildered as she looked back at Chuck. She was down right glaring at him before she heard a scream come from up a flight of stairs. Being the agent she quickly bolted up them, reaching the top as a lady stood their. Her mind didn't have the thought process of understanding what writings meant. Soon a ton more people joined her upstairs. "I saw it- The ghost." This had Chloe on high alert as she looked at the woman. "A ghost- what do you mean?" The blonde asked, with wide and almost fearful eyes. If only she had known what a convention was.

Dean looked torn between wanting to stay angry and wanting to go back to his initial desire to hug Chuck. "We go way back." Chuck continued to scratch his neck without looking either brother in the eye. "We thought you were dead" Dean went on harshly, staring hard at Chuck despite Chuck's not returning the stare. "I uh...I didn't..." And that was when the scream found its way to their ears and Chloe was off. "No, Chloe, it's not" Sam began but she was too far away to hear. Dean massaged his temples for a second, counting internally to five. "Ok, I'll go after her. You stay here and talk to Chuck." There was a high pitched shriek of "SAM?!" Sam closed his eyes. Dean grimaced and tacked on, "and Becky" to his sentence.

Then he was off. He reached the top of the stairs by elbowing his way through everyone else. There was a lot of complaining and "hey watch it"s, but he ignored them all, moving to Chloe's side. He took her elbow gently and propelled her away from the woman who was enthusiastically spouting off information about some dead man who she had seen in the drawing room. "It's not a real ghost" he explained.

God he hated LARPing.

Chloe was listening to the lady start rambling on about some man who had appeared and then disappeared. How she was so terrified she didn't know what to do- so she called for help. It wasn't a very convincing story, but everyone else who were dressed alike seemed to be buying what she was selling. Suddenly a hand on her elbow dragged her out of her confusion and into more. "What?" She asked, looking up at Dean with a small glare. She wasn't upset at him, but this situation. Everyone around the room dressed the same, acting as hunters of some sort, listening into stories as if they were real. She didn't understand any of this. Her confusion turned into realization as she sighed and looked down, shaking her head before looking back at Dean. "Why would someone joke about something like that?" She asked, biting the inside of her cheek. Her eyes found something in Deans, and she sighed softly. "Something tells me you know exactly what's going on." Chloe said, giving him a look that said if he knew something to tell her.

Dean watched the multiple emotions crossing Chloe's face as she tried to work through what he had told her. He really didn't have a good answer for her first question as it had been one that he had asked himself constantly throughout the first convention two years ago. But he fed her the line he had been given when he posed the same question. "They like the story line. It's more exciting to them than their own lives apparently." Her theory about him knowing exactly what was going on was accurate. He said as much. "Unfortunately, this is not the first one of these Sam and I have found ourselves at. Two years ago was their first ever and we were tricked into showing up. So yes, I very sadly know exactly what is going on."

Sam approached them just then, holding a paperback book in one hand and looking harried. Though Dean couldn't tell if the expression was because of what he was holding or because he had just spent fifteen minutes with Becky. "Hey." Sam greeted Dean and Chloe with a nod and then tossed the book to Dean who caught it out of mid-air. It was a Supernatural Book. And not one of the first couple dozen that had been published before they went bankrupt and stopped publishing, leaving the readers wondering what had happened after Dean went to hell. One about the events that had transpired a mere six months ago, explaining how the fans knew who Chloe was and the reason behind someone dressing up as Cas and other angels who hadn't been introduced in the previous books. Dean's jaw unhinged.

Sam nodded knowingly. "He wasn't kidding when he said he's been busy writing." Dean flipped through the book without closing his jaw. "That's like four years worth of events written in two." Sam nodded again grimly. Dean snapped the book shut and tossed it back to his brother. The woman behind them was finishing up her story about the "ghost" she had seen. The LARPers were hanging onto her every word intensely. Dean massaged his temples.

"I need to get out of here."

Chloe had one eyebrow cocked up as she semi-glared at Dean. "You have to be kidding me..." It was obvious she was just as annoyed as the two brothers. Plus her not sleeping much for the past few months had caused a strain on her attitude, she just hoped it wasn't obvious. And it shouldn't have been because she was stocked up on energy drinks. "So who hosts these anyways?" She asked, wondering why the boys were dragged into one of these two years ago and why it was still going on. To say their was a reasonable explanation why people were dressed alike and seemingly pulling threw the story line of the boys lives sounded like a big lie to Chloe.

But soon she saw Sam, holding something in one hand and having his face hold an uncomfortable look on it, it was kind of adorable. Her eyes were wide with confusion and partial wonderment of why she was being thrown into all this mess. Her eyes looked between Sam and Dean as the book was thrown. She watched as he looked threw it, seemingly getting more irritated by the second as he continued flipping threw the paper back.

Next Sam had commented something, probably about the Chuck guy earlier but she only payed attention to wondering what the book was about. Until she heard Dean. Events? Like life events? Chloe raised both eyebrows at him, trying to show that she was still lost before she just took the book gently. Soon looking threw it she saw her name multiple times, stopping to read threw the middle of some sort of chapter was a throw back to six months ago when she had met Dean for the second time and she had learned what really happened to her parents. She grew uncomfortable as she bit her lip harshly, not stoping until she felt a twinge of pain. Chloe handed the book back to Sam, taking a deep breath before looking at Dean. "Why are my life events in that story?" She questioned breathily, trying to take it all in.

Chloe's panic at seeing her name in print was a vivid flashback to when the boys had first learned about Chuck and the Supernatural series. Dean continued massaging his temples while trying to explain. "The guy downstairs...Chuck...he's a prophet. He knows things before they happen and he writes them down...they didn't have enough money to publish more than a few dozen back when we first met him, but I guess he found some money." He let his hands fall to his side. Two LARPers, one dressed as Cas and another as Crowley wandered by. "Crowley" was saying to "Cas" (in a terrible British accent attempt), "How about a deal? Half the souls from purgatory will be yours and half mine."

Sam, concerned with the murderously edgy look on his brother's face, made an executive decision for the benefit of everyone involved. "Ok, let's finish this discussion outside." It was a statement, not a question. He took Dean by the elbow and began ushering him towards the stairs, gesturing with his free-hand that Chloe should follow. Once outside, Sam let go of Dean's arm, helped along a little by Dean shaking himself free. "Breathe Dean" Sam ordered. Dean began pacing. "I don't want to breathe. I want to go back inside and get answers from Chuck about why he started publishing again after promising us he wouldn't."

Sam wouldn't deny that he wanted those answers too, but he didn't think now was the best time to get them.

Chloe looked at Dean with caring eyes, understanding he must be in an extreme amount of stress from what he hunts, his usual lack of sleep and now this all. "I still don't understand why my name is in here." She sighed, looking around as she saw the two dressed up males the boys were looking at. Two guys conversating about something she couldn't really understand. Soon Sam had pulled Dean out, gesturing her to follow along and that's what she had done. She followed them back to the front porch of the building, stopping as Dean shook himself free. "I agree with Dean." She said, looking up at the giant Winchester. "But as much as I want to coo the answers out of Chuck I rather threaten him... It'll make me feel better and probably be easier." And with that she had walked back into the building, not knowing wether the two brothers would follow or not but knowing what she was doing.

First she had went to find Chuck, but instead found Becky, the girl who seemed to be in absolute love with Sam. "Hey Becky... I'm a friend of Sams-" She started and got a slight glare from the girl. "I was just wondering if you knew were Chuck was.... If you can help me find him I might be able to get you and Sam some alone time." Chloe had a small smile on her face, wondering if Sam would kill her for that. But Becky's face had lit up and she nodded, gesturing Chloe to follow. And soon she had found Chuck, looking back at Becky and giving her a thumbs up. "Thanks... Would you mind giving us a second?" She asked sweetly and then looked at Chuck, glaring as tensely as she could. "What the hell is this?!" Chloe yelled, causing some people passing to stop and look at her.

Sam gave Chloe a "not helping" look as she announced she agreed with Dean about wanting answers. "We all want answers" he began calmly but Chloe had already left. There was a tense three second pause and then, "I'm with her." Dean spun on his heel and followed Chloe back inside, ignoring Sam's call of his name warningly. He also tried very hard to ignore the half a dozen Dean-wannabes in fake leather jackets who all turned to look and see if they were the "Dean" being called after. Dean found Becky exiting one of the conference rooms with a delighted expression on her face. "Hi Dean." She smiled pleasantly. "Becky." He returned the greeting with a miniscule fraction of actual kindness. He still remembered several months back when she married Sam while he was under that spell but had, at the last minute, seen reason and helped kill the demon who had helped her bind Sam. So there was a decent human being in there somewhere. However, it seemed that she still harbored a massive amount of desire for the younger Winchester because as Sam came up behind Dean just then, her face lit up like a Christmas tree. "Hi Sam!!!"

Sam spared a strained smile and "oh hi Becky" for her, before the brothers heard Chloe's shout and hurried to burst into the conference room. Chuck was standing with his back up against the wall, looking much more like the mild mannered, very skittish man they had first met two years ago. "I'm sorry ok" he replied before either Winchester could add onto Chloe's attack. "I didn't want to. Honest, I didn't. But...but some angel showed up at my house maybe four months after the two of you stopped the apocalpse and told me I had to keep publishing. The Winchester Gospel had to be finished." Dean threw up his arms in clear frustration.

"Angels. Great."

Chloe's eyes were wide with anger as she took a deep breath and bit her lip. He was serious? Of course he was. "So why didn't you just say 'no thank you' 'I don't feel like playing with peoples lives' or you no the common NO." She asked, using the intimidation factor by keeping her voice strong, sturdy and demanding. Chuck had looked uncomfortable to say the least before she looked back at Dean as if to ask if he wanted to say something to the book writer. Chloe still wasn't up to date with everything Supernatural, and she didn't mean the books Chuck had been publishing. She didn't understand about anything she had heard to be real, but she also wasn't running around yelling that everyone's crazy. Dean had said earlier that Chuck was a profit. So he saw things and then wrote them down, but in her head it was still wrong to make profit and fans off of someone elses life story.... Even though she did wonder what life story Sam and Dean held.

"Um, because they're angels" was Chuck's reply, looking at Chloe for a minute like she was crazy. "They made me. They've been watching me." He turned away from her to face the still silent brothers. "After everything we've been through...you know I wouldn't have kept publishing if I could help it." Dean wanted to be angry. He wanted to stride over and punch Chuck in the face for what had happened, but he couldn't. And judging from the look on his brother's face, he couldn't either. They had just been through too much with the profit to not know that he was telling the truth. The same couldn't be said for Chloe, who was still seething.

"Ok Chuck." Dean nodded tightly. Chuck's face flooded with relief. "Really? You mean it?!" Dean gave a noncommittal shrug. "Hey, they're angels. They're dicks. We knew that already." He darted his eyes from his brother over to Chloe, silently indicating Sam should try and explain things to her. Try and explain that Chuck really was a good guy in spite of everything. Sam moved over. "Hey Chloe, can I talk to you outside for a minute?"

While this was happening, Dean had reflected back to what Chuck had said about the Winchester Gospel needing to be "finished". What exactly did that mean? Was there a specific point in the boys' life that the angels wanted to get to in the books or by finished did they mean written until the boys were dead?

Dean wasn't sure he wanted the answer.

Chloe looked from Chuck as he explained that if he didn't have to, he wouldn't, but that didn't help ease her mind at all. Dean seemed to understand though, and Sam was obviously the quiet good boy type so he didn't say much. They were letting Chuck off of the radar, but that didn't mean the pissed off blonde had to. She always thought angels were good, kind creatures who tried to help. But maybe their were different angels. Chloe was drawn out of her thoughts as Sam started talking to her, but her eyes stayed glaring at Chuck for a few seconds before adverting up to Sam. She had nodded and began walking outside of the area, looking around again at the different people who were dressed up at agent, flipping open fake badges. Now not only was she upset, but kid of disappointed that that was how her profession was believed to be. She didn't mend much on that though as she walked outside for some fresh air and stopping to look up at Dean. "Why don't you want to hurt him?" She asked, raising an eyebrow at younger Winchester with a frown on her face.
