Zelda halted in her tracks as he cousin, Olivia, shoved a very large pastry basket into her arms, right before she was about to leave the house. She staggered slightly under the shock of having the sudden weight shoved into her arms. “Olivia – what – ” she began to argue. Things like this were always happening with Olivia and Zelda. Olivia was always forgetting certain engagements she had and she was always overbooking herself. Really, if she would just let Zelda set up a plan and a schedule for her, they wouldn’t run into these sorts of situations! Zelda tried to insist that it would be no trouble, but Olivia absolutely refused, afraid that she would be a pest.
“I’m so sorry, Zelda, but would you mind? I completely forgot that I have to deliver an order of flowers today. Please? You just have to take it to the main nurses’ station at the hospital,” she said, wringing her hands, watching Zelda with a face full of concern.
Zelda rolled her eyes and sighed, unable to find a real excuse as to why she couldn’t run this little errand for Olivia. “Alright, alright, fine, I’ll do it, but you have to leave me alone for the rest of the day,” she said, sternly, before lugging the large pastry basket out of the house and into her car.
Within a few moments, Zelda arrived at the hospital. She groaned slightly as she heaved the large basket into her arms once again and entered the hospital. It had been quite awhile since she had last set foot into the hospital, so she was quite sure where to go. She hated the thought of how ridiculous she probably looked, lugging an oversized pastry basket around. “Excuse me,” she said, stopping the nearest person in the hall,”Could you tell me where I could find the head nurses’ station?”
