Even though Zelda was still a little on edge because of Libby hunting her down, she had calmed down a little bit because of the whole demon thing. She figured anyone would have slipped into that sort of mindset, if that’s what a demon wanted. She cast a glance in the girl’s direction and immediately felt bad for her when she saw her curled up in the corner, clinging to herself. Zelda huffed out a sigh. Her hard exterior wasn’t quite as hard as she would have liked, apparently.
“Well, it’s a pleasure to meet you, Dean,” she said, flashing him a broad smile. She recalled both Zelda and Alex mentioning a Dean. “I think I’ve heard a bit about you,” she said, glancing back at Alex and Zelda,”And I suppose that’s Sam?” She nodded towards the other man that was talking to the girl in the corner.
With a sigh, Libby pushed herself up from the corner and slowly followed Sam over to where the other people were standing. She felt nervous about approaching them, both because she had shot the man and she had wanted to kill his sister. Alex stepped towards her and she watched him, as if expecting him to attack her. He surprised her when he took her hand in both of his. “No harm done, alright? Just a little blood loss, but hey, it’s an excuse to get a big ol’ steak, huh?” he said with a chuckle before releasing her hand.
“Yes! We’re going to get Alex some food to – ”
“We are?” piped up Zelda, who honestly just wanted to go home. Being hunted and having your brother almost killed could be incredibly stressful.
“Yes, dear,” said Olivia, resting her hand on her cousin’s shoulder,”Would you all care to join us? We’re buying.”
