ooc; SEASON SIX. EPISODE ONE.
It had been a year. A year since Sam had taken the tumble into the pit and a year since he'd been mysteriously resurrected. For the entire year he'd barely thought about Dean, which maybe should have been surprising, but he didn't really take the time to wonder about this. Instead, he focused on hunting with his new group of fellow hunters. Samuel, Gwen, Christian and Mark. Campbell.

"You alright Sam" Samuel wanted to know, passing him a glass of water and handtowel. Sam used the towel to mop some of the sweat from his neck and forehead before taking a long sip of water. "Yeah. Thanks." Samuel had just saved him from a Djinn poisoning with a handy little anecdote about three seconds before he would have suffocated to death. Unfortunately, the Djinn had disappeared before they could take her out. Sam set the water glass down and stood up. "We gotta go after her." "Cool your jets." Samuel waved this plan to the side. "You need to rest. Besides, we don't have a clue where she ran off to. We need to take a minute. Track her again." "I know where she'll be" Sam countered, beginning to pack a bag, complete with six vials of the Djinn anecdote. "What, you got a crystal ball in that bag too" Samuel scoffed. Sam slid two angel blades into the bag just to be on the safe side before zipping it closed and turning to face Samuel with no expression. "She said she wanted revenge, right? For killing her brother a few years ago?" Sam tilted his head to the side and speared Samuel with a pointed look. "Well who else to you think she'd go after?"
Samuel took less than a second to catch up, his eyes going wide. Sam gave a curt nod. "Exactly." Because, after all, Sam hadn't actually been the one to stab the Djinn in the back.
Dean had.
