ooc; SEASON FOUR. EPISODE TEN.
There had been silence in the cabin for about a full two minutes before anyone spoke again. "You want Anna" Sam clarified curiously. "Why?" "Out of the way" Uriel ordered without answering the question, taking a step towards the back room. Dean stepped in his path. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Okay, I know she's wiretapping your angel chats or whatever, but it's no reason to gank her." "Don't worry. I'll kill her gentle" Uriel promised, smiling without a drop of humor. Dean looked from one angel to the other, shaking his head. "You're some heartless sons of bitches, you know that?" "As a matter of fact, we are" Castiel announced bluntly, looking at Dean head-on. "And?" "And? Anna's an innocent girl!" Sam stepped in in disbelief before Dean could say anything else. "She is far from innocent" Castiel disagreed. The boys exchanged a befuddled look. "What's that supposed to mean" Sam finally asked for both of them. "It means she's worse than this abomination you've been screwing" Uriel snarled, glaring between Sam and Ruby. "Now give us the girl." "Sorry" Dean apologized without sounding sorry in the slightest. "Get yourself another one. Try JDate." He smirked.
Uriel did not look amused. "Who's gonna stop us? You two? Or this demon whore?" He flung Ruby up against the far wall without moving a finger. And that was all it took to end the staring contest. Dean took a swing at Uriel, having wanted to attack him since first meeting him. While they fought...which was a loose term for what was happening between the two, seeing as how Dean had only managed one or two punches before Uriel gained the upper ground...Sam was trying to guard the door Anna was hidden behind. Castiel, whom the boys had recently dubbed 'Cas' as a much faster and easier way of addressing him, was advancing. Dean could hear Sam begging, "Cas, please, stop" as Uriel pounded on him. But Castiel simply placed two fingers to Sam's temple, knocking him out cold.
"I've been wanting to do this for a long time" Uriel declared smugly, bringing his fist into Dean's bruised, bloody jaw yet again, gripping him by the collar of his jacket. Uriel lifted his hand again but before it could make anymore contact with Dean's face, a very bright white light was filling the room. And when it vanished, both angels were gone. Dean got to his feet slowly, wincing a bit, and wiped the blood from his split lip with the back of one hand, then moved over to where Ruby was lying and held out the other hand to help her up. They looked at each other for a minute, then both nodded without saying anything. Ruby moved over to kneel by Sam's side as he began to stir. Dean headed for the back room. "Anna are you-" he began, starting to inquire if she was alright. But he'd opened the door before finishing the sentence and got quite the eyeful. Anna was standing in front of a large vanity mirror, her arms and the mirror covered in a large amount of what appeared to be her own blood. There were strange symbols drawn in the blood on the mirror. "Anna!" He moved to her side quickly, pulling a bandana from each of his pockets and beginning to wrap them tightly around the gash on each of her arms. "Are they -- are they gone" she asked, wobbling a little on her shaky legs. Dean asked a question of his own, rather than answer hers. "Did you kill them?" He wouldn't be too broken up about it if she had but she shook her head, dismissing this idea. "No. I sent them away... far away." Dean finished knotting both of the bandanas and helped Anna lower herself into an armchair next to the mirror. He looked from the bloody symbols to Anna, raising an eyebrow. "You want to tell me how?"
Anna shook her head, looking just as mystified as Dean felt. "That just popped in my head. I don't know how I did it. I just did it." Dean gave a strained smile. Things had just gotten a lot more complicated.

"So what do you think" Dean wanted to know after having filled Sam in on the whole blood-drenched mirror scenario. They were alone in the outer room of the cabin while Anna rested in the back room with Ruby watching over her. "I think Anna's getting more interesting by the second" Sam declared, running a hand through his hair. Dean nodded seriously, leaning up against the wall and crossing his arms. "Yeah, I agree. And what did they mean by "she's not innocent"?" "It seems like they want her bad, and not just 'cause of the angel radio thing" Sam theorized. "I mean, that blood spell -- Some serious crap, man." Dean definitely agreed. Normal, everyday people off the street just didn't know things like that. There was something she wasn't telling them. "Something's going on with her" he mused aloud, pushing off of the wall and straightening up. "See what you can find out." Sam raised a curious eyebrow. "What are you gonna do?" "Anna may have sent the angels to the outfield, but, sooner or later, they're gonna be back" Dean pointed out. "We've got to get ourselves someplace safe. Now."

Dean rapped on the wall of Bobby's panic room with his knuckles. "Iron walls drenched in salt" he informed Anna, who was sitting in a chair against one side of the room, looking a little anxious. "Demons can't even touch the joint." "Which I find racist by the way" Ruby threw out, standing just outside the door with crossed arms. "Write your congressman" Dean quipped. Instead of responding to that, Ruby reached into her pocket, pulled out two small leather pouches and tossed them both to Dean. "Here." Dean raised an eyebrow. "Hex bags?" Ruby nodded firmly. "Extra-crunchy. They'll hide us from angels, demons, all comers." Dean looked from the hex bags to Ruby. "Thanks Ruby." He nodded at her with genuine appreciation. She nodded back. Dean took one of the hex bags and handed it to Anna. "Don't lose this" he instructed, placing the other hex bag in his jacket pocket. "So, Anna, what's playing on angel radio" he wanted to know next. "Anything useful?" Anna shook her head, drawing her knees up to her chest and resting her chin on them. "It's quiet. Dead silence." "Good." Dean gave a thin smile. "That's not troubling at all."
Anna looked worried. "We're in trouble, huh? You guys are scared?" Dean glanced out of the room at Ruby whose expression was a blank slate, though Dean could read in her eyes that she, like him, felt more than a little thrown off by this whole mess. But for Anna's benefit, he simply shook his head with half a brave smile. "Nah." "Hey Dean" Sam called from upstairs, out of sight. Dean touched Anna's shoulder gingerly. "Just stay here, okay?" Stepping out of the panic room, he paused next to Ruby on his way towards the stairs.
"Keep an eye on her."
