So...I opened my email today and had an email from Misha Collins. I kinda may have screamed a little. I'm not stupid and I know he probably has no idea who I am and was just going through his list of people he needed to email but still. I'm treasuring this thing.
"What's up Samantha,
Get this - I was eating pancakes and one of them reminded me of you... and then 2-seconds later someone told me you registered for gishwhes. What a coincidence! You are going to have a blast with gishwhes! Most of our mutual friends from Burlington have had an amazing time with gishwhes. It may be something in the water.
You now have the option of letting us fill out the rest of your team with other participants from all over the world at the end of registration, or you can form a team and invite friends. You don’t have to invite 14 friends - you can invite as many as you want and at the end of registration we’ll fill out the rest of your team. You can even form a team and just invite 1 friend if you want. What about that one girl in the victorian blue house with the cat statue in the yard that lives on 3 Hickory Lane near you? I can’t remember her name. She might be good. But obviously your call - I don’t want to be bossy pants.
Don’t forget, if you refer a friend who joins, you’ll be entered into a drawing to join the winning team in Costa Rica with me.
Oh! Before I go back to writing that poem for you, did you know that the Hieroglyphic root of Ellis means “Costa Rican fire dancer”? This could be an auspicious sign that you’re going to win gishwhes and join me in Costa Rica. We’re going to have adventures in rain forests, volcanoes and disco clubs. It will be like a typical night out in UNITED STATES except with poisonous frogs, lava and congo drums. You’ll love it.
Best,
Misha"
I love that guy <3
