Crowley sat in a booth in some kind of pub in Nashville Tennessee, enjoying the ambiance. A plate of french fries sat untouched in front of him, as he needed to order something to keep the table, but actually did not need to eat, what with being a demon and all. He fiddled with the shot of scotch in front of him, waiting. Ever since he'd put out the "hands off the Winchester" decree to give those boys time to gank the leviathans, he'd been sending one demon a month to spy on their progress and report back. The second they removed the leviathans from rotation, the decree would be lifted and demons would have free range grazing on the Winchesters once more, so he needed to be appraised of their doings.
"I found them." This month's demon, an attitude on legs named Jade, suddenly appeared across from him in the booth. Crowley glanced around to make sure no one had seen a girl just randomly popping out of thin air and then raised an eyebrow at her. "And?" "Nothing. They're just sitting in that cabin, reading. And sometimes arguing." She hesitated and then barreled ahead. "Sir...why can't we just take them out now? They are completely distracted. Something's up with the big one I can tell. It would be easy to wipe them from the playing field."
"They're all yours...once the leviathans are gone." This was not the first time Crowley had been pitched this idea. And while he knew that the two of them were a primary thorn in his side and had been a major problem for all demons since...well, forever...he also knew that they were the world's best shot at exterminating Dick and his kind. And he loathed them more than the Winchesters.
Priorities.
