"Like...anything" he replied, realizing how unhelpful that was. If he could be more specific, he would. Teddy headed for the library so Dean took the kitchen. If the place had looked like a hurricane hit it before Dean started in, it now looked like a nuclear bomb had gone off. But it had been a successful nuclear bomb. Dean straightened from the hidden compartment at the base of the wall by the refrigerator, a dusty picture in one hand. It depicted Bobby, Cas, Chuck, and several other gun-wielding people with stoic expressions, clustered around a wooden post which read "Camp Chitaqua". He hadn't the faintest idea of where that was, but at least it was a lead.
"Hey Teddy" he called, folding the picture in half, stuffing it into an inner jacket pocket, and going off in search of his new companion. "I think I found..." He trailed off, having reached the library's entry way. Teddy's expression was unfocused and she was speaking to thin air, calling a toppled bookshelf Aaron. "Teddy?" Dean stepped in front of her and took her by the shoulders gently. "Are you ok?"
Well there was a relatively stupid question to ask.
ooc; so I kinda pictured her maybe seeing Dean as Aaron in her hallucination and thinking him taking her by the shoulders was to try and drag her away to play so if you have the same thought, you have my permission to throw Dean away from you. I won't consider it godmodding xD

Teddy looked up at Dean, but it wasn't Dean to her... it was Aaron. "N-no!" She shouted pushing Dean away with as much force as she possibly could. "I-I don't want to play, Aaron... I-I don't want to." She stuttered and held back sobs and the tears that threatened to leave the corners of her eyes.
"I-I don't want to play football with you... please, leave your sister alone..." She pleaded to what seemed like thin air, but it was to her little brother. His vision grew impatient and he threw his ball near her head and against a bookcase, it made Teddy flinch and automatically move a hand to shield her face. "Careful!" She shouted with her big sister voice... which she hadn't used in years.
The pills she required were nowhere and she had to deal with the occasional hallucinations... which were only resolved by being shocked by something. A friend of Teddy had kissed her once to shock her out of it, but Teddy only ended up smacking the poor girl and then apologizing about twenty minutes afterwards - which her friend accepted with a small chuckle and a grin.

Dean stumbled backwards, caught off-guard by the shove. His back collided with the only bookshelf that had managed to escape the wrath of whatever had ransacked this house. Several books toppled to the floor. Teddy continued shouting. She was very clearly NOT ok. Dean pushed off of the bookshelf and approached her again, more cautiously this time. "Hey!" He used his "stern big brother" voice. The one he'd used countless times on Sam to get him to focus. It was usually accompanied by a slap in the face or a shove in the chest, but that was with Sam.
Dean was at a complete loss. He'd never dealt with a person with this degree of hallucinations (oh boy would that soon change), and short of the aforementioned slap in the face or shove in the chest, he hadn't the faintest idea of how to snap her out of it. But her shouting and flinching were growing out of control so he was left with no other alternative. "Hey" he repeated forcefully, taking her by the collar of her shirt and pushing her up against the wall. "Stay with me" he ordered, giving her a final little shake.
That had better work.

Teddy shook a little, her hallucinations were probably a lot worse now than when she had seen her brother, sister and mother all without throats in her home after that dreadful day at school, in London. It had been years of development so the hallucinations could get worse once her mind collected more terrifying things that went bump in the night...
Her eyes snapped to Dean when he used a older brother tone, Thomas did the same tone to her when she was younger and it always made her cower. When she was grabbed by the collar her eyes widened and the shake soon brought her back to reality. "D-dean...? Oh God, tell me you didn't see that!" She said with a sad tone. "You weren't supposed to see that side of me..." She muttered before her eyes looked down at the floor, her hands moved up to his that were on her collar and she squeezed at his hands - it was a reassurance he was real and not an illusion like her little brother.

Dean gave a relieved sigh when Teddy spluttered his name. If she was seeing him and calling him by the proper name, chances were whatever nightmare had been going on inside her head was over. And when she prayed that he hadn't seen what had happened, even though from his close proximity there was no chance of that being the case, Dean's very first, knee-jerk reaction was to say "no, I closed my eyes", but with a great deal of effort, he refrained. Instead, he released her collar and took a step back. "It's ok" he assured her. He wasn't sure if she was a hunter or not, or whether people in 2014 even made the distinction between civilian and hunter, what with everyone needing to know how to fight and survive, but he did know that sometimes people saw things they just couldn't unsee. And that followed them around for life.
Dean was very keenly aware of this fact.

Teddy let go of his hands and she looked at him with sad eyes. He had seen... she couldn't deny that and he couldn't try and convince her otherwise. She hated having the hallucinations of her past and every time she did... someone would've bullied her for it... that was because she'd have them at school and the rest of the kids would pick on her for it. That meant she turned into an introvert, bookworm that was socially mute at times... but the past few years - since moving to America - Teddy has learnt talking will get her places and she slowly overcame her social mute disorder... but not her hallucinations. They got worse!
"It's not okay..." She muttered quietly before looking from the side to his eyes, her blue ones were watery. "You are looking at me in a way I'd look at something I'd not understand... what is it you want to understand about me?" She rubbed her wrists, a nervous notion as she shifted a little on her feet.

Dean shook his head and reached into his inner jacket pocket, surfacing with the picture which he unfolded. They didn't have time for emotionally fraught conversations. He needed to get home. And he wasn't going to sit around for three days and be croat bait. "This is where we need to go" he informed her. "There's someone there I need to talk to." Provided, of course, that Cas and Chuck were still there. He realized he kept saying he needed to talk to people. First Teddy, but then bailed on that to come talk to Bobby, but then bailed on that because...well, Bobby wasn't there. And now he had someone else he needed to talk to. It might sound strange to Teddy but Dean was honestly past caring what did or did not sound strange. The girl had just thrown him across a room and shouted at furniture. She could give him a by on his dazed and somewhat spastic mannerisms.
So Dean started righting the overturned desk drawers, looking for the atlas he knew Bobby kept around. "Gotcha" he cried at last, slamming the heavy book down on the cluttered desk and beginning to scan its pages.
The internet would have been faster but one look around the planet told him that had long since gone by the wayside.

Teddy eyed the picture that Dean unfolded to show her. "Camp Chitaqua? I've heard of that place... no, I've seen it before." She muttered before she simply nodded at him. Determination was clear on her face. She may have noticed the constant dropping of ideas of talking to people but she didn't want to question it. She had her own issues; so he could have his own issues too...
Teddy went over to the atlas and she only had to scan the pages for a good few seconds before her index finger slammed down onto its position. "There. Camp Chitaqua." She said firmly. She had read atlases many times... mostly for time killing; but she was a serious bookworm and would even read an entire dictionary to pass the time. She memorized most definitions and large words but she wasn't that good.
"Well then, Dean-o, let's try and find this person to talk to." She smiled weakly at Dean, patting his shoulder as she walked past him.

Dean had only been scanning the atlas for a few seconds when Teddy came right up to his elbow, peered over his shoulder, and pointed, locating their destination. Dean was very strongly reminded of Sam and his natural ability to research things quickly and efficiently. He said as much, with a half smile. "You remind me a lot of someone. At least right then you did." He paused and then added, "thanks for the help." According to the atlas, they were only about half a day's drive from the camp. Easy to make. Dean memorized the route so he wouldn't have to lug around the heavy book, and then crossed the library to where he knew Bobby kept spare ammunition. It might come in handy. "Here." He tossed her a box of regular bullets, keeping a box of regular and a box of salt rounds for himself. He pocketed both, made sure his borrowed gun was still safe within his jacket, and nodded resolutely. It was time.
"Hey...another thing" he added as they headed for the exit. He grinned wryly.
"Quit with the Dean-O thing."

Teddy smiled and giggled lightly. "No problem." She paused before adding: "And I'm unsure whether that is a good or a bad thing... but guessing by that smile of yours, I'll take it the person is a good one." She said softly before her eyes followed him to the other side of the library. She caught the box of bullets and grinned. "Oh thanks, I needed these." She said before taking out her dual pistols and checked their ammo. Luckily refueling wasn't needed right now so she put the box in her pocket and put her pistols in their holsters.
Teddy followed him by his side towards the exit. Her eyes shot to him and she acted like she was considering it, tapping her bottom lip with her left index finger. "Hm... how about nope?" She giggled and stuck her tongue out at him before exiting, a playful grin on her face. It had been years since she could joke around like that with someone... years before this disaster, even. She looked back at him. "So, I'll be right behind you, I put my trust in your coordination." She smirked before sitting on her bike. "Lead the way, Dean-o." She added the Dean-o with a joking wink and a small giggle.

Dean smiled fondly when she assumed the person she reminded him of was good. "He's the best" he replied genuinely. Sure, there were times Sam was a royal pain in the ass. And there were times they fought and argued like any brothers and sure there was that whole issue with Dean basically kicking Sam out of the family business of hunting, telling him he didn't trust him anymore...but at the end of the day they were family. And that counted for a lot. Almost everything.
When she refused to stop calling him Dean-O, Dean rolled his eyes and pushed through the front door with one shoulder. "Cute" he commented sarcastically. The sedan and motorbike were waiting parked side by side out front. Dean pulled the sedan's keys from his pocket, tossed them into the air with one hand and caught them with the other. "Alright, well see you there." As he got into the car, he couldn't help throwing out a final word for that sentiment, seeing as how any voyage in this croat-ridden world was a potentially dangerous one.
"Maybe."

Teddy giggled at him. "You know I am anything but 'cute', love." She said in her Londoner accent, a smirk on her face that was quite flirtatious but also playful. She made sure her motorbike was no longer braked and she looked back up to Dean as he threw the sedan's keys up in the air and catching them with little effort.
"Yeah, I'll see you there." She said with a soft smile, her hands gripped her motorbike's handlebars and she revved her motorbike up. She chuckled, also adding a joking: "Maybe." Before she lent forward and rode off behind Dean, her eyes watching all sides of her being as they traveled down the long roads towards their destination - Camp Chitaqua.

It wasn't hard to reach the outskirts of town where the camp was located. Not a soul, croat or human, was out. Dean parked the sedan behind some bushes and left the keys in it. He wasn't planning on going anywhere else. This was where he'd either find Cas and Chuck and get some answers as well as get home safely or he'd just sit in the middle of the road and let whatever was going to happen happen. If Zachariah was so damn intent on teaching him a lesson, he'd have to take the consequences if something happened to their precious 'Michael Sword'.
He did a complete 360 degree turn in the middle of the road, taking in their surroundings. They were surrounded on either side by tall log-cabin-type houses and a large wooden post reading 'Camp Chitaqua' informed him they had the right place.
But where was everyone??

Teddy arrived only seconds after Dean. She parked her motorbike carefully and stepped off the bike. "Where's everybody?" She asked out loud in confusion as well as some worry filling her tone. If she couldn't help Dean out she'd feel like crap for a long time... she loved helping people. She did that by hunting. But to help this guy talk to, whoever he needed to talk to, seemed like the best plan and she needed to fulfill it - otherwise she'd feel useless.
She went over to Dean and looked over at him. "Are you sure this is the right place?" She asked, hands on her hips. She wanted to make sure it was correct, otherwise she'd feel like it was a waste of time if no one was there. "Are there clues if they moved out somewhere else?" She asked as she turned and walked off to one of the log cabins and scanned the outer walls for scratchings, notes etc.

Dean could hear the worry in Teddy's voice. "This is the place" he assured her, gesturing to the labeled sign. But as to where everyone was, that he couldn't tell her. Teddy went off in one direction, scouring the place for clues so Dean decided to do the same, heading in the opposite direction. But he hadn't taken more than three steps when his eyes fell upon a sight that horrified him far more than anything he'd seen yet in 2014...and that included the six croats fighting over their fallen comrade. Stranded curbside, looking completely trashed...completely worked over for spare parts...windows smashed, wheels missing...was his baby. His precious Impala. He felt physically ill looking at it. His legs went rubbery. "Oh my god" he moaned in despair, rushing to her side. "Baby, what have they done to you?"
Hearing footsteps behind him, he assumed they belonged to Teddy who'd come to see what was taking him so long. "Find anything" he asked without turning around. "Oh yeah" came the response in a voice that wasn't Teddy's. In fact, it was a very shockingly familiar voice. Before Dean could get a word of defense or explanation in, he was collapsing. Out cold from the solid blow to his skull by the butt of a gun.
Dean Winchester lowered the gun, eyeing the body he'd just struck down skeptically. It had to be a shapeshifter. He couldn't think of another explanation.
"I definitely found something."
