Dean looked around the shack they were currently living in, trying not to look disgusted at the rundown appearance.Rufus hadn't been there to keep up with the maintenance in years and it wasn't like they had many other options what with Bobby's house being burnt to the ground and the boys not having a home and all.
Dean took a swig from Bobby's flask, then capped it and tossed it onto the moth-eaten couch next to Sam, who was scrolling through some news clippings about Dick Roman on his laptop. "You can't hide in that big building of yours forever, Roman" Dean growled at the screen, beginning to pace. "What's he up to anyway?"
Sam shook his head to indicate either he had no idea or he didn't want to be disturbed from his focus. Dean reached for the flask again, but froze as the lights began flickering. "Bobby" he called into the silence, moving his hand from the flask to his waiting gun on the table. Sam was pulled from his computer revere to grab his own gun and both boys tensed up.
A few more seconds passed and then Bobby popped into view. Sam and Dean lowered their guns. "Jeez, Bobby" Dean griped. "A little warning next time." Bobby grinned. "Didn't mean to scare you boys." Dean shook his head. "Sure you didn't."
"Uh guys..." Sam had gone back to his laptop now that the possible danger had been fizzled out and was staring at an email. Dean peered over his shoulder. "Wait a minute...that's from Frank." He gestured at it. "Open it up. Maybe he's ok." Sam clicked on the email and his face fell. Dean didn't need to ask why. Clear as day the first line of the message read, "if you are reading this, I'm dead."
"Awesome." He looked away from the screen while Sam kept reading. "It says he put a gps on the harddrive so we can find out where it is now" Sam read out, clicking a few keys at rapid speed. Dean dropped into the seat next to Sam, waiting impatiently. His impatience turned to outright frustration when the labeled dot appeared.
"Great." Bobby came over to see what had the boys all stressed out and his expression came dangerously close to murderous as Dean spoke out loud what they were all thinking. "It's in the middle of the death star."
