ooc; SEASON TEN. Set for about six months after This Thread. ((Episode Wise -- About a week or so after the events of the 200th episode took place))
The bunker was quiet. Sam was in the library at one of the two long tables, pouring over a heavy leather bound book for anything about the Mark of Cain. Sure, at the moment, Dean seemed fine, but Sam was still worried. And he knew that once things started sliding downwards, it was going to be a fast spiral. So he wanted to strike first. He wanted to find a way to remove that blasted mark before it caused any more problems. And, barring that, he at least wanted to be ready.
Dean, meanwhile, unaware of his brother's current search, was in his room, relaxing on his bed with his eyes closed and his headphones securely covering both ears, listening to a classic rock playlist in comfort. Unfortunately, the peaceful comfort, with only the sounds of rock to occupy his head, meant he was soon sleeping. And in sleep, the nightmares came.
It wasn't like in his tour as a demon, the "real" Dean had been knocked out. No, Dean remembered most of what he'd done.
And he'd done a LOT.
