Dean didn't quite understand how she could not go looking for her own flesh and blood. If Sam was missing, he would stop at nothing to find him, even if there was a possibility the outcome was not going to be good. And that was not just him theorizing. It had happened. More than once. But it was her call so he backed off of the idea instantly, nodding. "Sure, no problem." Her sudden kiss on his cheek caught him off-guard but after a second he relaxed, smiling gently at her. "You're welcome. And hey, it's a two way street. You saved my ass more than once in the future and you are a big reason Sam and I are not in Dick Roman's stomach right now" he chuckled. Had it not been for her getting to that Borax in the motel room, this story would have most definitely turned out differently. "So thank YOU." He wrapped an arm around her shoulder, pulling her into a quick one-armed squeeze before releasing her and taking a long swig of beer, trying to quiet the rumbling of his stomach. Boy was he hungry.
But then again, he usually was.

Teddy chuckled with him before she blushed lightly. "You're welcome, Dean-o." She said it softly before she blushed as he gave her a one-arm hug, she wrapped her arms loosely around him from the side, hoping not to hurt his ribs before she let go and smiled brightly at him. That is, before she heard his stomach rumble and in-turn, hers also rumbled. "Oh my god that's embarrassing." She chuckled before she checked the fridge. "I hope Bobby doesn't mind me making pancakes for you lot." She smirked over at Dean before taking out the necessary things she needed.
She took out a pan and began to make the pancakes, she decided to make two per person. So eight pancakes - shouldn't be too hard for the master chef aka. Teddy. She glanced to Dean and smiled lightly, almost like a reflex. "I-I'm glad you're alright, to see you in some much pain yesterday..." She trailed off before continuing: "It broke my heart, no wonder I cried like a wuss." She chuckled dryly before looking back to her pan and began to dish up the first plate, Dean's plate. "Here... put maple syrup on if you want it on." She smiled wryly.

Dean took a seat at the table, watching as she began cooking up the pancakes. "Honestly, pain and bruises are kind of par for the course with me" he admitted, chuckling when she explained why she'd broken down crying. He'd had so much worse beatings in the past...including dying...more than once...and he wasn't stupid or naiive enough to think this would be the worst he received from here on out either. It came with the job.
"Oh my god, this is heaven in circular shapes" Dean mumbled through a large mouthful of his breakfast, swallowing and stabbing another bite with his fork. It was rare for him to get an actual meal that wasn't microwaved from a gas station or picked up at a fast food joint. "Thought we smelled something good" Sam said from the doorway where he and Bobby were now standing. His eyes fell upon the half-drunk beer next to Dean's plate. "Really Dean?" Dean grinned cheekily and reiterated his point. "It's five o'clock somewhere."
It always was.

When Dean talked about pain and bruises being a common thing, she could agree. They were hunters after all. She chuckled when he said her pancakes were like Heaven and she scoffed: "I think they're anything but like Heaven, Dean-o." She smirked over at him as he had talked with a mouthful of her well-cooked, heavenly breakfast.
Teddy heard Sam's voice and she turned briefly to smile at Sam and Bobby. "Morning you two." She said before she served up their pancakes. "If you boys want maple syrup, you better put it on before I use it all up." She smirked playfully before putting some maple syrup on her own plate of pancakes. She watched as Sam noticed the half-drunken beer bottle and she chuckled lightly at Dean's retort. "He has a point, Sam." She smirked. "And I can't disagree, beer with pancakes, mmm~" She chuckled before taking her second-to-last sip of her beer before indulging into eating some pieces of her pancakes. Her cooking was pretty good, she had to admit that.

Sam dropped two pancakes down onto his own plate and took the seat next to Dean, splashing a little maple syrup over his breakfast. Bobby did the same, taking the last available seat at the table. Dean could not get over how weird it was to just be sitting around like normal folk eating a meal together almost like nothing else mattered. Nothing else was going on in the world that needed fixing. Which he knew was not true. Finishing his last pancake, he dropped his fork, wiped his mouth with a napkin, and settled back in his seat swirling the remains of his beer around in the bottle before drinking it down. "It's been a day. I think it's safe to say we can swing by the motel and get your stuff Teddy" he pointed out. They'd left most of her belongings in her motel room, seeing as how they'd been fleeing for their lives at the time.
This was sort of a sticky subject. Dean knew that hunting was tough to do on your own, and he would invite Teddy to stick with them...he didn't want to just kick her to the curb and say it was time for her to head out on her own yet...but he and Sam were sort of a two man package. They were an exceptional team. The best hunters on the planet.
Not to be immodest or anything.

Teddy ate her pancakes in silence before Dean stated they had to go get her stuff from her motel room. She had almost forgotten, the family-like atmosphere had overwhelmed her so much that she'd forgotten that yesterday did have a bad and rough start. She nodded lightly and smiled wryly: "Of course." She said, finishing her pancakes before she put the plate away, coming back to the boys with a small, grateful smile on her face. "Thanks for everything, boys." She said softly before walking up to Bobby and hugging him. "It was so nice to meet you, Bobby." She said softly before she looked to Sam and Dean.
"You boys coming then? A chick like me can't walk there." She smirked before walking out the cabin and towards the Impala, she opened the back seats' door and sat inside, shutting the Impala's car door behind her with a small smile on her face. She hoped the boys would be alright while she was gone... she hoped to call them as much as she could to check up on them, but to know that they were hunters with pretty normal aspects in their lives, she guessed they'd be fine without her. She held the friendship bracelet she had on her wrist and twirled it as she stared down at it.

Bobby smiled and tipped his head at Teddy. "You too." Bobby put everyone's dishes in the sink to wash later, turning to address the boys who were packing up, ready to hit the road. The first stop was dropping Teddy off with her stuff and then they'd figure out where to go from there. Bobby clapped Sam on the shoulder, then pulled him into a hug and repeated the gesture with Dean next. "I'd tell you boys to be careful again, but..." He shrugged with a gruff smile. "I don't think it'll catch on this time either." Sam and Dean looked at each other and then back to Bobby grinning. "Seeya around Bobby." Dean placed two fingers to his temple and saluted the older man fondly.
The Winchesters slid into the car where Teddy was waiting and Dean started the engine with a roar. The drive to the motel from the cabin was shorter than the drive had been vice versa, seeing as how Dean was now the one behind the wheel. Two cop cars were taking up a large portion of the parking lot so he parked the Impala on the street. Dean had forgotten about the smashed window and drops of blood in Teddy's motel room from yesterday's encounter. He glanced over one shoulder at Teddy in the back seat. "Was there anything in there that is vitally important to you?" If there wasn't, it might be easier to just blow town and buy her some new supplies. If there was...well...they'd find a way in.
They always did.

Teddy sat there calmly when they began to drive to her motel. The sight of the police cars made her eyes widened. "Oh great... just great." She muttered out loud before she looked to the front to Dean and she sighed heavily: "T-there was a box of my stuff in there... my laptop, my mother's ring... oh god! My mother's ring!" She said, her voice begins to panic as she looks wide eyed at the police officers looking in her motel room. "M-my mother's ring is in there! A-and my sister's locket and my little brother's favourite football shirt." She was failing to sound calm as she literally wanted to flail around in the back of the Impala out of panic.
There were police everywhere. How the hell were they going to get in there?! She saw the staff member she had to talk to the other night, whom was currently being talked to. By the way her mouth was moving and her hand gestures, she was describing Teddy and then describing Sam, because she had to go on her tip-toes and reach her hand up to specify his height. "Shit. They got the woman who was with us yesterday, she thinks Sam's my boyfriend and you, Dean, are my little brother... great."

Teddy was on the verge of flat out hyperventilating. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, Teddy, calm down." Dean twisted in his seat so he was facing her head-on, lifting his hands like a traffic cop. "We'll get your stuff, I promise." He thought things over for a second and then nodded calmly. "Ok, well she only saw you and Sam. She has no idea what your "little brother" looks like. She's probably imagining a ten year old kid. So I can go in without arising suspicion. I'll get your bag and meet you back here in five." Of course it might become suspicious if he walked into a supposed crime scene and walked off with a bag from inside, but he could figure out the specifics on the fly.
He was pretty good at that.

Teddy took some deep breathes in and out, sorting her breathing out before she nodded to Dean and smiled wryly: "O-okay, Dean... thank you." She said softly before patting his shoulder from her position before she gazed outside the Impala back window and watched as the manager went back into the motel after her interview.
Teddy's mind went to her box of things. The mother's ring was the most special thing in her box of objects - it was not her wedding ring but it was the family ring that was passed down from mother to mother and her mother had given it to her only a week before the incident occurred. Her sister's locket and her brother's favourite football shirt were just things she took with her on that day of events where she lost them to the local nest of Vampires - that were hopefully slaughtered by her father and big brother - wherever they may be...

"Dean." Sam jerked his head at the car door indicating he wanted a private word with him outside. The boys stepped from the car. "You are aware that about a month ago our faces were on every news circuit in America right" Sam reminded him anxiously. The levis that had cloned them had done a pretty fan-freaking-tastic job of convincing the country they were mass murderers. But the hype had died down when they'd supposedly died during the final stop of their latest crime spree. Dean gave a tight smile. "I'm aware.""Then how are you"- "I'll figure it out." Dean clapped Sam on the shoulder and headed off in the direction of Teddy's room, keeping a low profile. He pressed his back up against the motel room wall just outside of the open door, listening intently. The manager was conversing with a police officer inside. "Like I told the other officer, there was a lot of noise so I came to check it out. The young woman assured me it was just her younger brother messing around. But when I came to collect her money for staying an extra day rather than checking out this morning, I found the room like this."
Exhaling sharply and deciding to just go for it, Dean pushed off of the wall, pulled his trusty FBI badge from an inner jacket pocket and marched professionally into the room. "Morning officer. Ma'am." He tipped his head in greeting to both of them. "We have reports of two people matching the description of your missing patrons checking into a motel two towns over" he announced, tucking his badge out of sight with a clipped nod. The officer quickly pulled out his walkie-talkie, completely missing the way Dean had tensed up, fearing he was going for a gun or handcuffs instead, and spoke into it, repeating Dean's message as he walked from the room. The manager smiled bashfully at Dean, something he was used to, and then followed the officer's path.
Dean grinned to himself as he scooped up Teddy's bag in one hand and fled the scene. Approaching the car, he could see Sam, in anticipation of needing to get out of there fast, was already in the driver's seat. Dean slid into the passenger seat, closing the door behind him quickly.
"Go."

Teddy waited patiently in the back of the Impala. She wondered what Dean and Sam had conversed about alone, but she kept the prying questions inside her head as she shot a glance outside the back window, only to see Dean approaching with her bag. She smiled lightly as she saw him get to the Impala and she grinned once she saw the bag, she gently took the bag from Dean.
"Thanks Dean." She said softly before her eyes went back to the motel. "Oh shit my motorbike!" She said and her eyes widened when it seemed to be taken away. "O-oh no! I-If they crush her I'm gonna..." Her face had gone pale. That motorcycle was a gift, if anyone trashed it... there was hell to pay. She glanced to Sam and Dean. "C-could we stop at the closest crusher site? They'll be taking my motorbike there." She said quickly. "But we do need to get out of here, quickly!"

Sam put the already started car into gear and pulled out of the spot on the street where she'd been parked. Teddy's yelp caused them both to look at her over their shoulders, though Sam's look was more brief, as he had to focus on the road and all. Dean nodded reassuringly. "Of course." He understood her panic. If anyone tried to crush his baby, he'd go ballistic. That car was one of three things he had left, apart from his favorite leather jacket and his dad's journal, that had one belonged to his father. His idol. And he could only assume from the pale complexion of Teddy in the backseat that her bike had either once belonged to someone she cared about or was a gift from someone she cared about.
So Sam discreetly followed the tow truck that was hauling away Teddy's bike, parking a block away from the impound lot. There were no guards. Just a high chain link fence. The boys swapped a look and grinned.
Piece of cake.

Teddy smiled wryly at Dean as he seemed to have an understanding look and feel to him. It was probably because he'd kill the people who ever attempted, or succeeded, in crushing his Baby. Which Teddy would do the same if it was for her motorbike. It was a gift from a close friend who had died from a natural cause - cancer. Cancer was a bastard and Teddy hated to see people suffer because of it.
Teddy saw the impound and as soon as they parked she saw their faces and even she thought it was going to be easy, accompanying a wry grin of her own before she carefully and quickly shot out of the back seat of the Impala and snuck over to the entrance. Why was there no guards or anything to represent the impound? She looked through the gate and her eyes set on her motorbike, it looked like there was three cars that had to be done before her motorbike; she hoped they'd get in there in time.

The boys followed Teddy up to the gate. She was peering through it, her eyes lighting up when she recognized her bike. They looked at each other again and nodded. Dean scaled the fence easily, dropping down on the other side of it and unlocking it, allowing the other two entrance. "Come on, let's move." Just because there weren't guards now didn't mean that couldn't change. Teddy's bike was sitting in a row of cars all apparently destined for the crusher which they could hear chomping away at a car several yards to their left. There was a boot on the front wheel, which was supposedly to keep it from being stolen. Dean chuckled to himself, gesturing at Sam and Teddy to keep watch, although he wasn't sure if Teddy understood his intent or not, as he and Sam were pretty skilled at communicating silently but other people might take awhile to catch on. Then he knelt down, pulling his lock-pick tools free of one pocket and went to work.
The boot sprung free within a few minutes, leaving Teddy's bike good to go. "Your chariot my lady." Dean mock bowed to Teddy, pocketing his lockpick stuff. "Now let's move" he added, beckoning for Sam, Teddy, and Teddy's bike to follow him back towards the still open gate, which he slipped through, waited for the others to join him, and then closed it, leaving it unlocked. They all headed back for where the Impala was idling.
Dean turned to Teddy awkwardly. This was pretty much the jumping off point. She had her bag and bike. She was ready to go off on her own again and so were the boys. Dean reached in through the back window of his car, producing Teddy's bag and handing it over. "If you ever need anything, night or day, call us" he promised.
"Seeya around kid."
