Conrad's smile froze. "Sir, I...I didn't...""Sam. Dean." Edgar spoke loudly over Conrad's half-finished protests. "Good to see you boys again." Dean clenched his jaw, gripping the knife in one hand tightly. "Wish I could say the feeling was mutual." Edgar's lips twitched in partial amusement, his eyes taking in the three fallen leviathans and Teddy. "Here's the deal boys" he declared. "Dick wants a word with you. You come with us now...willingly...and the main course on legs over there can go about her merry way.""Hey, I was promised her" Conrad objected before the boys could even begin to consider the deal. Edgar stared calmly at Conrad. "And I was promised that the four of you were competent enough to handle this assignment..." His eyes flicked back down to the other three headless leviathans before meeting Conrad's gaze again. "So I guess we're all disappointed."
Dean, despite his feelings about leviathan and Edgar, couldn't help but be impressed at that little jab. It was right up there with his own sarcastic abilities. He spared a brief sideways glance at Sam, who nodded, before exhaling with determination and tossing the knife to the ground. "Fine." He narrowed his eyes.
"Deal."

Teddy's eyes narrowed once they made contact with Edgar's. She stepped forward a few steps before her eyes glanced from Sam and Dean to Conrad and Edgar, who seemed to be having a small bicker amongst themselves. When the deal from Edgar was offered, Teddy's eyes widened. She glanced over at the boys and shook her head: "N-no boys, don't!" She said trying to change their minds but their minds seemed to be set firmly as Dean tossed her knife on the ground and agreed to the deal.
Teddy looked down at the floor at Dean's response before her eyes rested on Conrad and Edgar. "If the boys get to see this Dick guy, then I should be able to come too. Seems only fair. But if anyone tries to chew me up I won't hesitate." She warned Conrad and Edgar, her eyes glaring at them intensely. Teddy knew of their weaknesses and had assisted in killing three of the Leviathans that were clearly sprawled on the floor of her motel room... how she was going to explain that she had no clue.
But that didn't matter. She wanted to stick close with the boys, make sure they're safe.

Dean shook his head violently at her when Teddy tossed out the idea of her accompanying them. "Teddy, no." That wasn't the deal. But Edgar seemed open to amendments. He chuckled. "Very well." Well if Edgar was going to change up his side of the deal, then so was Dean. Everyone had been focused on Teddy as she offered herself up. And everyone included Conrad who was closest to Dean. In one seamless gesture, Dean scooped up the fallen knife, wrapped a strong arm around Conrad's shoulders and placed the knife to his throat, holding him hostage. Sam punched the struggling leviathan in the face while his brother held him, disorienting him slightly. "New terms" Dean announced bluntly. "Nobody goes to see Dick. Everyone goes along their merry ways, and you can try to catch us again next time."
Edgar's eyes moved from Teddy to the three dead leviathans to Conrad to Sam and then finally to Dean where they rested on his hard, cold expression. You could see him weighing this over in his mind. Dean could also see him weighing his chances of getting to Teddy before either of the brothers. She was about halfway between him and Sam. Dean darted his eyes from Sam to Teddy subtly, passing on the wordless message and Sam began inching his way towards her whenever Edgar's gaze was on Dean rather than the room at large. Dean gave Conrad a shake of the shoulders, digging the knife point deeper into his collar. "Your call Edgar." Edgar shrugged blandly. "Kill him." Dean blinked.
He hadn't seen that coming.

Teddy glanced at Dean and she went to retort about his objection to her amends to their deal but she was accepted by Edgar and she nodded at the Leviathan briefly before her eyes settled on Dean who had quickly and smoothly picked up her knife and held Conrad hostage. She hated Conrad the most; he forced her to bring Dean and Sam over to her motel room; he put them all in dire situations; and almost killed her... and Teddy wanted him to die for it all. It was all his fault.
Teddy noticed the glances towards her from all the three men in the room - excluding Conrad who was a bit disorientated at that moment - and she herself edged closer to the boys. They were her close friends. They'd protect her... right? She didn't want to question their protection as she edged close enough to Sam's side. She glanced up at him. And oh was he taller than her, she just barely touched his shoulder with her head.
She felt tiny but protected by the giant moose she called her best friend. And she liked that feeling.

"Go ahead" Edgar went on, smirking. "He deserves it." This was throwing a serious wrench in Dean's bargaining chip of getting them out of there. Keeping a tight grip on Conrad, he began backing them both towards the door. "Sir, please" Conrad begged, clawing at Dean's grip. His disorientation was beginning to wear off, Dean could feel it. He was regaining his supernatural strength and would soon be able to turn the tides on Dean. Dean glanced over at Sam, nodding subtly. Sam began nudging Teddy towards the door as well, keeping his oversized frame between her and Edgar, who was watching all this unfold from the center of the room with a calmly amused smile that made Dean uneasy. Like maybe Edgar knew something they didn't. Worried, he glanced over one shoulder to make sure no extra leviathans were waiting outside. As far as he could tell there weren't.
Sam and Teddy had reached the door by this point. However, while Dean was distracted, Conrad was able to twist around, flinging Dean's arm from his shoulders and knocking the knife to the ground. "Sam get her out of here" Dean bellowed, ducking to miss the punch aimed at his face and lifting a foot to kick Conrad hard in the chest, sending him backwards a few steps. Sam hesitated. "Dean"-
"NOW."

Teddy felt her arm being nudged slightly and she glanced from the smirking Edgar to the focused Sam Winchester, whom was nudging her to the only entrance and exit of the entire motel room. She nodded lightly and abruptly before she walked over to the door with Sam and she went to leave the open doorway but her eyes shot towards Dean as he was now being attacked by Conrad.
"N-no! Dean!" She shouted in disbelief, readying herself to lunge in and help him. But Dean had ordered Sam to get her out of the damned place and she felt it was her fault he was now in trouble and she felt helpless... sure, she could easily just ignore and help, but that wasn't Teddy and she didn't want Dean to be pissed at her for not taking his orders.
She went to leave but quickly turned around: "Good luck, Dean-o. Try not to die." She called before she tugged at Sam and left the motel room with him in a hurried fashion. Unbeknownst to her, she had repeated what Croatoan Teddy had said to Dean when they first met in the future/past/present (ugh time travel), and she didn't even know what had happened to her as Dean never said anything about it... then again, she had no reason to ask as she didn't even know Dean when that happened and he never brought up meeting a future version of himself and Teddy herself... it would've been confusing for her to process, and that is to say the least.

When that motel room door closed and he could hear the distinctive sound of a lock clicking into place, Sam began pacing anxiously. He never should have left Dean alone in there but getting Teddy out safely had been the goal. Teddy was simply food to the leviathans, whereas they at least seemed to need to be dealt with by the boss as opposed to just any old leviathan on the street. "Are you ok" Sam asked, turning to face Teddy, his brow knit anxiously as he tried hard not to think about what was happening inside. ~~~
As soon as Sam and Teddy were clear of the room, Edgar crossed to the door, closed and locked it, leaving Dean alone with two leviathans. Dean scooped up the fallen knife, holding it out threateningly to keep them both at bay. "Look, I'm sorry I let your lunch leave" Dean quipped dryly as Conrad lunged at him, and he danced away, keeping one eye on each of the leviathans as best he could without getting dizzy. "But I'm sure there's really a more healthy way we could work this out." He ducked under Conrad's outstretched fist which had been attempting to land a hit on his jaw. Edgar finally stepped in, laying Dean out flat by taking his legs out from under him with a strong kick and then stepping on his chest to pin him in place. Dean grimaced.
"Or not."

Teddy heard the distant sound of the lock clicking and her eyes widened slightly. 'N-no! N-no! This is bad!' She thought in a panicked tone before her eyes met with Sam's anxious ones as she craned her neck up just to meet them. "I-I'm not okay, Sammy... I'm scared for Dean... I-I shouldn't have gone along with their plans from the start," She admitted while rubbing her wrists anxiously. "It is all my fault!"
Teddy felt guilty, if she hadn't notified the boys then she may have been given a quick death and they wouldn't have known about it... not right away anyways. Teddy looked over to Sam and spoke with an uneasy shake to her voice: "W-we need to g-go and help Dean... h-how we do that - I d-don't know." She stuttered as she stopped rubbing her wrists anxiously and became lightheaded, her head swaying lightly. Worrying about Dean was not a good thing, as it sometimes triggered the occasional illusion that would pass with medication.
But her medication was in her bag in her motel room! Her breath hitched as her eyes wandered around before landing on Sam helplessly. "S-Sammy... I-I don't feel so good..." She warned him the best she could before backing up and sliding down the hallway's wall, cradling her aching head. It was painful, like a migraine, it was intense and long-lasting. She knitted her eyelids shut as she tried to calm herself down.

Conrad stepped on Dean's hand, forcing him to release the blade, and then kicked it aside. Conrad reached down, gripping Dean by the front of his jacket and hauling him to his feet, slamming him into the wall and holding him there. Edgar picked up the fallen blade and held it to Dean's throat lazily. Dean's breathing was labored but he stared calmly, unafraid back at the two monsters. Fear just wasn't programmed into his DNA. ~~~
"No, you need to get out of here" Sam instructed when Teddy pleaded that they needed to go back and help Dean. There was a loud crash from inside the room and Sam's resolve to stay away like Dean had wanted fled. He jiggled the locked doorknob in vain before slamming his shoulder into the door a few times, trying to break it down. "Dean" he shouted frantically, continuing to use his shoulder as a battering ram, until Teddy's weak voice piped up from behind him. Sam spun around in time to see her sliding down the wall, holding her head. He moved to kneel next to her. "What's wrong?""She's cute Sam. Totally worth focusing on her more than your brother...who's probably dying..." Lucifer stood leaning against the wall on the other side of Teddy with crossed arms and a devilish smirk.
Pun intended.

Teddy slowly looked up at Sam and her hands shook as they gripped onto his bigger hands as tightly as she could muster with the little strength she had in her current state: "S-Sammy... go help Dean. I-I'll be f-fine... just fine." She took in a shaky breath before slowly continuing her small talk: "M-my meds are in the motel room... m-my head is playing tricks on me is all." She tried her best to reassure her moose friend, but seeing as the Sam she'd grown to like was one who was always concerned.
But according to Teddy he should be focused on saving Dean: "G-go Sammy. H-help Dean!" She ordered the best she could with a stern voice, her shaky hands letting go of his larger ones as she glanced around anxiously. Awaiting what hallucinations were to come. "P-please don't be Aaron... p-please..." She pleaded quietly to herself; Aaron was her younger brother who was the worst hallucination out of her family - he'd actually attempt to hurt Teddy if he didn't get his way...
Her mother would stand in reflections of any shiny surface once Teddy's hallucinations were triggered; her big sister would do the same but would pull angry faces and would shout at Teddy, tormenting her day and night; her father and big brother have never come to her... which struck her as confusing but she made it a strategy of her mind telling her that they are safe at her family home in London, probably wondering where Teddy had gone to, and this was not so long ago - 5 years actually. One thing she hated about her hallucinations, her little brother was the worst: he'd speak, shout, patronize, act cold, force Teddy into doing things and would attempt to hurt her if he didn't get what he wanted...
Teddy hated it all. Her medication was her only way out, besides self-harming but that had only brung her more physical pain than any mental release...

"Look at that Sam, two freaks in a pod" Lucifer chuckled at Teddy's explanation of what was going on, adlibbing the word 'freaks' into the saying that usually had the word 'peas'. Sam glared but refused to rise to the bait and communicate with him. Instead, he placed a hand on Teddy's shoulder. "I'll be right back" he promised before rising to his feet and returning to his attempts at busting down the door. It was a miracle none of the other motel patrons or staff had come to see what was going on yet. Lucifer tipped his head back, studying the ceiling with a bored expression. "Try the key, Sam." Wow, yeah. That would be the smartest option on the bored had he been thinking clearly. Sam hurried back to Teddy's side, kneeling again and touching her shoulder, trying to get her to focus. "Teddy, I need your room key!""Please" prompted Lucifer. Sam stared.
You knew things were bad when the devil was more polite than you were.

Teddy's eyes shot from side to side as she awaited for someone to taunt her, a mirror on the other side of the wall caught her attention and the visage of her mother's dead face was on the other side. Teddy's eyes widened and she shook her head, closing her eyes tight: "M-mother please go away!" She called, holding her head as she tried to set her mind straight.
When Sam had tried to bust open the door a few more times, Teddy's headache was worsening. She clenched her teeth before her mind was shocked and she stared at Sam as he asked for her room key. She blinked for a few seconds, her eyes settling on the mirror before she looked back to Sam and gulped, nodding frantically, adding a: "Of course, of course." She muttered it as she reached into her jean pocket and pulled out the key: "Go Sam." She said as she gave him the key. "You can do this." She smiled weakly before her eyes met the mirror once more and she slowly slid up into a standing position.
It was her mother, she was smiling? Teddy's eyes blinked and her head tilted in utter confusion. Her mother never showed emotion, it wasn't normal. She edged towards the mirror slowly and her left hand reached up and she placed it on the mirror; her mother's hand reached up and touched Teddy's hand. Teddy's eyes watered, this was a breakthrough for her and her mother... but it didn't feel all too right. Teddy abruptly stepped back and spun around when a staff member came down the hallway, a stern look on her round face. 'Shit shit shit!' Teddy thought in a panic.
Teddy walked up to the staff member and smiled wryly: "Sorry for the noises, my boyfriend and I forgot our key, and my little brother was stuck inside the room, he is just playing around right now; but then I'd stupidly forgot my key was in my boyfriend's jacket. No need to worry." She said, making a small movement of her hand to brush it off. The staff member merely nodded: "Anymore noise and I'll have to chuck you out. Understand?" She said sternly. Teddy gulped and weakly nodded: "I-I understand, ma'am. Sorry!" She said quickly, rubbing her neck when the staff member walked off in an annoyed state.
Teddy blew out a bit of air in relief before she caught her eye on the mirror. Her mother was gone! And that meant someone else was coming! Teddy's eyes widened when she had spun round to go help Sam get into the room, all because her little brother, holding his favourite soccer ball, was standing with a deadpan expression in her way of getting into her motel room. "A-Aaron. G-go away." She said in a stuttered whisper, she didn't want to be stern and shouting at him in her 'big sister' voice, all because she didn't want anyone to find out the situation her, Sam and Dean were currently in - it would scare them and maybe even make them ask too many questions - and Teddy doesn't like being asked too many stupid questions.

Sam took the key she thrust at him and quickly stuffed it into the door, which clicked and swung open immediately. His eyes swept the room frantically only to discover that the back window was broken...hence the smash they'd heard...and the room was empty. "Dean?!" Sam checked the bathroom and the kitchen just in case. Nothing. "Well that's not a good sign." Lucifer stood in the open doorway, chuckling dryly. Sam ignored him, his heart thudding wildly in his chest, as he made a beeline for the dresser where a medicine container sat. From the hallway he could hear Teddy conversing with the motel manager. Snatching up the medicine, he returned quickly to Teddy's side, shoving the meds at her. "Here!" If he could get Teddy to focus and make sure she was alright, then he could go off after Dean without feeling bad about leaving a head case behind.
Post by Teddy Wilson on Feb 18, 2015 19:38:30 GMT -5
Teddy's eyes landed on Sam as he burst into the room, she took the medicine and took three pills out of the bottle and shoved them in her mouth and swallowed thickly. Her eyes scrunching together as swallowing three pills at once took a bit of effort. She looked back to Sam: "D-dean isn't in there?" She questioned, glancing at the broken window in her room. "Shit." She spoke, placing her bottle of meds into her back pocket and ran a hand through her hair. "Where the hell did they take him?"
"T-this is my fault!" She said, all the guilt hitting her like a brick to the face - and she knows how that feels. Teddy looked to Sam, the guilt obvious in her eyes. "S-Sam, we need to go find Dean!" She said in a rushed voice. "T-this is all my fault! A-all my fault." She was whispering to herself. "If I hadn't've gone along with their plans at the beginning then everything would be a-okay... sure, I'd be dead but I couldn't give two shits if I was dead or not..."
Post by Sam Winchester on Feb 18, 2015 21:29:40 GMT -5
"Teddy, this is not your fault" Sam stressed, trying to calm her down while simultaneously trying to keep his own panic internalized so he could think this through rationally. Unfortunately, there was also a third voice in there he had to deal with. "Real bucket of sunshine this one is" Lucifer drawled. "And I thought you and Dean had self-esteem issues." Sam grimaced, pressing hard on his scarred palm, the trick that generally made Lucifer flee. Making a face, Lucifer waved one hand dismissively. "Don't bother party pooper. I'm going." And he was gone.
"Ok." Exhaling sharply in relief, Sam could now focus properly. "I need a computer. Do you have one in your room somewhere?" The one negative thing that the Leviathans had maybe not counted on when implanting their boss in such a famous person like Dick Roman was that it was always fairly simple to find out where he was. Or maybe they had counted on it and just didn't care. Since you know, only a select handful of people knew that Dick Roman wasn't Dick Roman anymore. And nothing could kill him.
