Zanna didn't move from her spot on the ground the entire time the brothers finished what she started. Tears still ran down her face, but she had otherwise become silent except for sharp, erratic breathes. Her legs were curled into her chest and she wrapped her arms tightly around them, keeping herself together as much as she could. Fingers tangled themselves in her abundance of brown hair, clenching slightly. Today was definitely not her day. Everything had gone by so quickly. She was still trying to comprehend all the events that occurred: met two not-so-FBI hunter brothers, found mom-not-mom who was also family's murdered, killed family's murder, finally realizing family's dead. It didn't really sound like much - sounded like the typical movie plot, really - but for a girl who never had anything big happen in her life, it was unbearably overwhelming.
Zanna jumped slightly when she heard the body drop into the whole, but she didn't look up. No one else could see, but her face constricted again, letting out a silent cry. When she heard the patting of soil, she finally looked up, blinking her swollen eyes. The hole was filled and the corpse wasn't getting out ever again - or at least easily. The hunter wanted to thank the boys yet again, but she never felt herself move. She only stared at the fresh-looking dirt with an empty look. It was done, all of it was over. She had the choice of leaving the hunting life since she was still very early in, but after everything she had witnessed, she could never live a domestic life. If this happened to her, no doubt this could happen to someone else. If there was something she could do about it, she didn't want what happened to her happen to anyone else.
The brunette loosened from her curling position, settling for resting her arms on her parted knees in a very lax manner. Still she looked to the ground, until Sam entered her vision. Looking at him, she found a source of comfort. When asked if she was okay, she remained silent for a moment before crying again, although this time it was a bit different. Zanna let out a sob and fell into Sam's body, clutching onto the fabric of his jacket. They hardly knew each other, but after the whole killing the killer ordeal, the two brothers gave her more comfort than she'd felt in a while. The brunette cried into his shoulder despite her throat feeling raw, and didn't stop for the next few minutes.
