She was used to being on her own most of the time. Not many people made her feel safe enough to want to be around them for an extended amount of time. She'd been free for three years at least and in that time, the amount of people that made her feel safe could easily be counted on one hand. It wasn't exactly rocket science as to why she was like this. If one knew her story then they would probably be sympathetic but it was something she denied and pushed into her subconscious and ignored. She didn't want to think or talk about it let alone acknowledge it was part of her life.
Two of the people she felt safe with were brothers. Well, she felt safe with one of them anyway. The younger one had been more interested in bedding her than he had saving his brother from being eaten by something. She'd since discovered they were called Ghouls and normally, they fed off of the dead but that year in particular was a bit crazy and most monsters were off their usual patterns. Things didn't seem to get any better though. Kesh didn't hunt. She simply monitored things and did a lot of research. Why? Because since she found out what was really out there, she became a litte obsessed with it. She didn't want to hunt like Sam and Dean though. She wasn't strong enough to do it and they'd lost so much. In a way, she'd bailed on them so they didn't start caring for her.
She looked down at her drink and sighed, wondering where they were now. It had been two years and she did miss them. She just couldn't remember what they looked like. All she could remember was that Sam was tall and wore Khaki and Dean had biker boots and an almost military style haircut.
"I wonder if I'll ever see you again," she mumbld to herself.
