"I don't like this at all." Dr. Visyak chased after Dean, getting in front of him and putting up both hands. He'd just returned from the Impala, carrying the bag that held his new plan to free the sword. "You do realize that this is the single most valuable artifact you have ever touched" she went on imploringly. "It's also the only weapon we got" Dean reminded her. "Look, I know what I'm doing, okay? I actually learned it all from Bobby." She remained unconvinced. "Hey, whatever happened there, you know he's at least a genius at this" Dean added with confidence. Dr. Visyak still seemed to be on the fence so Dean went in for the kill, locking eyes with her intensely. "Do you want me to kill that dragon or not?"
It took another minute but Dr. Visyak finally conceded with a sigh and backed clear of Dean's path. "Ok." Dean nodded confidently. "Trust me." Stepping forward, he knelt beside the giant boulder and pulled a c4 explosive from within his bag, smirking. "You rocks think you're so smart."

Ten minutes later he'd finished attaching all the c4s and took a step back, admiring his handiwork. "Well...welcome to the 21st Century." He unrolled the length of wire connecting the explosives to the trigger in his hand, backing up until he and Dr. Visyak were in the hallway and then closed the door. "Ready?" He winked, holding the trigger in one hand and using the other to hold the door in place. Dr. Visyak didn't look ready. Her smile was strained at best and seemed to be asking him, "are you serious"? Dean's lips twitched. "Fair enough." Without saying another word, he pressed the trigger button and a colossally loud explosion raked through the adjacent room, the door shaking against Dean's hand. "Alright. Here we go." He laid the trigger down on the ground and pushed open the doors, revealing the still smoke filled room, pieces of rock debris littering the floor. Dean strode forward, approaching the last little bit of the original boulder, where the sword was still sticking out of but easy to pull free now with nothing surrounding it in entirety. Grinning triumphantly, Dean gripped its handle and lifted. And only half the sword came out.
Dean's smile flickered. Turning slowly, he caught sight of the devastated expression on Dr. Visyak's face and chuckled weakly.
"You've got insurance for this right?"
