Sam, confident that Tim would just scurry on out of there, released him and took a step back.
Dean, more shaken than he should have been by Reggie's comment, as it clearly wasn't about anyone in particular, took a step back of his own, lowering the pool cue. Perhaps it was just the word 'die' that had gotten to him. Bobby's death was still fresh in his mind and stung more than any words could ever possibly describe. But no matter what the reason, it was in that moment that the lights went out, plunging them into total darkness. Dean felt a fist connect with his ribs from the side, causing him to drop the pool cue and stumble slightly. He hadn't been expecting a hit because only a coward would attack someone in the dark. So when the lights came back up a few seconds later, there was really only one logical conclusion for Dean, who rounded on Robert. "What the hell was that for" he demanded, eyes narrowed. Sure, Robert and Reggie were friends and Robert had been trying to get Dean to back off of him, but Reggie had started it.
Robert shook his head, looking clueless. Dean, fueled by adrenaline and not thinking clearly, simply punched Robert in the face hard in retaliation, knocking him out. All senses on high alert still, he felt Reggie's incoming presence more than saw it, spinning around to meet the swinging arm with his own in a sort of 'x' position mid-air. Using brute strength, he twisted Reggie's arm around, pinning it behind his back. "If you make one more move on me, I will remove this arm and feed it to you" he threatened intensely. "Now get out of here." Releasing Reggie with a rough shove towards the exit, he waited to see if Reggie would bail or if he would have to make good on his promise to perform an arm surgery.
He wasn't sure which of those two things he wished would happen more.
