Teddy closed her eyes to stop the tears from the pain in her arm from flowing down her paling cheeks. Her eyes slowly opened, a little hazy as the pain numbed because of adrenaline. She watched as Dean dropped the sword at his feet and she looked down slightly.
"I am different. Sure, I love my mother for creating my species - but, I just got a desire to kill. And your friend here was up for grabs. So, I snatched her, just like them." The dragon gestured with its head towards the human bones laid in a big pile in the corner of the room. "And your friend would be over there by now, joining them as a pile of rotting bones - but if you damn Winchesters hadn't destroyed my original plan, Miss. Innocent here but be dead. And because you two aren't tied up for the show, I'll just have to be patient and wait!" It snarled, growling in anger at the brothers.
Teddy glanced to see the slightly positive smile from Dean, her lips quivered but she couldn't bring it to herself to smile fully as she held onto her bleeding arm. She knew the gash was deep and needed stitches. She felt the arm around her neck tighten and she gasped, the haziness returning in her eyes. "Oh, she's getting sleepy. I do prefer my food immobile." The dragon remarked with a evil grin and laugh.

"That's us" Dean returned tightly when the dragon growled at him, complaining about how he and Sam had ruined his original plan. "You know, plan ruiners should really be our job description" he went on with heavy sarcasm. It did seem to fit them well. It fit hunters in general well, but it fit the two of them best of all. They had a very long history of throwing wrenches into monsters' plans. A history that stretched back most of their lives. When the dragon looked down at Teddy, Dean inched forward subtly and Sam followed suit so that when the dragon looked back up again, they were still stationary, pretending not to have moved in the slightest, but they were definitely about an inch or two closer. Not noticeable unless you paid extremely close attention.
"If you prefer your food immobile, he's a whacky thought" Dean deadpanned, his eyes dancing down to the dragon-killing sword fragment at his feet and then back up to the dragon, narrowing.
"Eat things that don't move!"

Teddy noticed they had moved forward and she flinched, hoping that the next slice would be less painful for her. But it didn't come. The stupid dragon hadn't even seen the damn thing.
"Dead things are less fun, you can't torture dead things before eating them up after juicing them up." The dragon chuckled darkly, it's eyes landing on Teddy. Teddy looked at the dragon and she smirked at him knowingly. "You want to know something, punk? I'm not a real virgin. I just went to the church to renew my innocence, you idiot!" She shouted before she snapped her head back, hitting him in the nose, she grabbed the bloody knife from his hands, quickly moving away to stand in between Sam and Dean.
"Apparently your sense of smell is very outdated." She gritted through her teeth as she felt pain again, her right arm bleeding outrageously. "Okay... I'm losing a bit of blood." She mumbled in a haze, her eyes showing small, black dots every so often.

Dean opened his mouth to retort to the dragon's sadistic comment, but instead it was Teddy who was the next to speak. The boys looked at each other over her head as she scurried to stand in between them, each with a sort of "ohh" dawning expression as she revealed she wasn't actually a virgin. It restored Dean's faith in hunters. Quick as a flash, Dean stooped to pick the sword fragment back up but the dragon, despite being an idiot, was not THAT much of an idiot and had vanished with a gust of air from its enormous wings. Taking on three hunters, even if one of them was bleeding out, especially since he no longer had a hostage AND another of the three was holding the one type of blade that could kill his species, would not end well for him.
"Come on, we've got to get you out of here" Dean announced grimly, handing the blade to Sam and pulling a bandana from an inner jacket pocket which he then proceeded to wrap tightly around Teddy's wound. Then, knowing from personal experience how dizzy loss of blood could make you, he swept her up into his arms without giving her time to object and inclined his head at Sam.
"Lead the way."

Teddy watched absentmindedly as the dragon disappeared. She groaned and almost closed her eyes before feeling pressure on her injury. She moaned in pain before looking to see it was a bandanna that was wrapped around it to stop - or try to stop - the bleeding from the deep wound.
Then she felt a stir and she couldn't feel anything under her feet any more. She was a little late to gasp in surprise as she noticed she was off the ground and in Dean's arms. She smiled up at him with shaky, tired lips. "T-Thank you..." She mumbled before her head swayed lightly as the dizziness took over; the wound becoming a throbbing, numbing pain on her arm as she laid her head against his chest and groaned under her breath.
"I hope I'm not too heavy for you... D-Dean-o..." She murmured against his chest, not fully aware of what she was saying out loud.

The Winchesters moved silently through the abandoned factory, back to the front entrance which they stepped through, needing to be guided by Sam's flashlight as the sun had begun to sink since they'd first entered the building. The younger Winchester stooped to pick up the duffel bag Dean had left there, returning the dragon-killing sword fragment to its depths before slinging it over one shoulder. Dean followed his brother back down the dirt road to the main street, which was still deserted. As Dean lay Teddy down on a layer of coats in the back seat ((to protect his baby's upholstery from blood of course)), he suddenly felt as though there was a pair of eyes on his back and straightened up, turning around. No one was immediately apparent so he shrugged and climbed into the driver's seat, starting up the Impala's engine with a satisfying roar.
There was a string of motels and restaurants about half a mile back from where they'd found Teddy and that was their destination. "Get us a room" Dean instructed his brother, cutting the engine, exiting the car and moving around back to open the door and scoop Teddy up again as though she weighed no more than a bag of feathers. Sam didn't have to ask why he was the only one heading into the lobby. Dean joining him, carrying a half unconscious girl, might arouse some suspicions.
Once again, Dean had the sudden sneaking suspicion he was being watched. Keeping a tight grip on Teddy, Dean turned slightly, his sharp gaze surveying the entire parking lot. And, once again, no one was there. "Got us a room" Sam announced, coming up behind Dean and making him jump slightly. Sam tilted his head to the side curiously. "What's with you?" Dean did a final visual sweep of the area, then shook his head evasively. "Nothing. Let's go." He inclined his head at the trunk. "Can you get the first aid kit?" As Sam grabbed the rather large and heavy first aid kit and then closed up the trunk and Dean headed for their newly acquired room, the hairs on the back of his neck rose. Ok, that was the third time in less than an hour he had gotten the distinct impression someone was watching him. He wasn't THAT paranoid. And he was a damn good hunter who could generally rely on his instincts in situations like these.
Someone was definitely out there.

All Teddy could do was lay there on the coats covering the backseat as she struggled to keep awake from how dizzy she felt from her deep wound. She heard the engine cut off and some scuffling as Dean had come to the backseat to pick her up in his arms again. She wondered how he could pick her up so easily - but she decided that it might be due to the fact he has probably carried Sam before - which is saying a lot, considering Sammy's height.
Teddy noticed - through her hazy vision - that Dean was being a bit cautious and looking around as if being watched. Teddy was too out of it to feel anything like that and thought Dean might've just been watching out for any passers-by that thought he was taking her to his place for some suspicious reason. Which was understandable considering she was bleeding through the bandanna covering her deep wound - which, in itself, would cause major superstition on what his true intentions were to those who didn't know the reasoning behind Teddy's cut.
She wanted to say something but Sam had said it for her. She sighed silently as she tried to keep herself together, the blood loss making her head sway as she tried to keep it still against Dean's chest as he moved along with her in his arms. She saw Sam pick out the first aid kit and she smiled weakly as she felt her eyes struggle to keep open. She had a feeling she'd be safe... but considering how weird Dean was being, something was definitely up...
"Dean... is something up?" She was generally concerned as she knew Dean was getting a little more tense in the way he was moving and looking around as if something was up. However, before he could answer her... her eyes slid shut and she went limp as she couldn't fight the screaming pain of the bleeding wound as she fell into the darkness, the numb feeling of unconsciousness made her feel, somewhat, at ease.

Dean was shaken from his scouring of the surroundings by Teddy's question. She and Sam both clearly noticed his behavior. However, before he could tell either of them his suspicion that they were being followed, or watched at the very least, Teddy became very limp in his arms, her eyes closing. The lack of blood had caught up with her. "Sam." Dean alerted his brother to this fact in an urgent voice, their mysterious lurker completely leaving his mind. Sam hurried ahead of the other two, holding open their motel room door helpfully. Dean lay the unconscious Teddy down on the closer of the two beds, unfazed by the fact that a good deal of her blood was now staining his shirt as well as his hands.
Reaching out with one hand, he accepted the first aid kit without looking at Sam, still focused on Teddy. "You're going to be fine" he promised her, pulling free the necessary supplies. Sam stepped forward wordlessly to help by lifting Teddy's shirt sleeve enough to give Dean a clear shot at the wound. Dean worked steadily with a quiet focus for several minutes, stitching up the gash, then applying a healthy dose of alcohol to sterilize it. Finishing up, he put away the needle and extra thread, wiping his bloodied hands on a grungy rag.
After a few seconds, Dean turned to face his brother with a knit brow. "Not that we don't have enough problems right now but I think"- "Someone's been following us" Sam finished with a knowing nod. "When did you notice it" Dean wondered, glancing sideways at Teddy briefly before returning his gaze to Sam who was answering the question in a low voice. "Since we got here and you were acting cagey." Dean tossed the rag down onto the kitchen table next to the first aid kit and wandered over to the window. Pulling back the edge of one curtain, he peeked out, but it was too dark for him to see anything out of the ordinary. He let the curtain drop back into place and turned to face the room at large, shrugging subtly. "Nothing."
Yet.

Complete darkness had been what she had been watching for a long time before her eyes fluttered open, still lidded as she was trying to process the lighting and what was going on. She grunted as she tried to sit up, still a little dizzy from the blood she had lost earlier on. Her eyes rested on Sam and Dean and she blinked, furrowing her brows together.
"Is everything... okay?" She whispered out, her voice a little hoarse as she half-sat on the bed, mostly leaning on the bed's headboard. She wandered her eyes between the two men before her eyes went down to the stitching work on her body and she lightly traced her fingers on the wound, hissing quietly under her breath. "Jeez... I didn't think it was that bad." She whispered, almost jokingly, as she tried not to fake a laugh as she didn't want to make the boys feel as if she was faking it all - but she did, somewhat, feel alright - considering everything that had happened...
But to her own instincts, nothing had been wrong - except for her passing out - but she couldn't feel anything terrible (for example, like somebody was watching from afar), so she assumed they were acting on edge as if they were just worried about her well-being - but she came to realize, a long time ago, that the boys will have probably seen a lot worse than a deep cut on. So it made some questions appear in her mind, but she was too out of focus to even begin to mention any of them.

The boys had only been standing there silently, both pre-occupied by the worrying idea they weren't alone in the vicinity, for about five minutes before the sound of Teddy groaning and stirring met their ears. Dean moved over to her side, looking down at her in concern, ignoring her question and asking one of his own. "How are you feeling?" He knew from multiple experiences that being stabbed was no picnic. Nor was the massive blood loss.
Sam, also having several similar experiences to draw upon, knew it was always good to replenish your nutrient levels after losing that much blood. So he tipped his head at the door. "I'm going to run out and get us all something to eat" he informed the pair by the bed. Dean's head came up sharply. "Uh, maybe you shouldn't" he suggested evasively, not sure he liked the idea of his brother wandering around when there was a very real chance someone...or something...was out there, watching them.
Even if said brother happened to be possessed by an angel currently.

"I'm fine, Dean... just, exhausted and feel a bit... 'out of it' - I suppose?" She smiled up at the worrying Winchester and she chuckled softly. "No need to be a worry wuss though, Dean-o. I'm good, honest."
When Sam had offered to go outside, Teddy had sent him a smile as if to say she was appreciating his help - but with Dean's immediate response to Sam's offer of help, Teddy's alarm bells went off. "Okay... guys - seriously now - what the Hell is going on here? Why is Dean acting shady about... whatever it is that he is being shady about?" She had pointed her look over to Sam, raising one of her eyebrows in a questioning manner as she wanted to figure out what was going on with her close friends.
"I know I was out for the count for a few minutes... or however long... but you guys should know by now to trust me and tell me what's going on." She huffed in disappointment as she played with her duvet, trying her hardest not to jump out of the bed as the stitches would rip if she did.

The brothers exchanged a look, communicating silently as they so often did, when Teddy demanded to know what was going on. "Alright fine" Dean relented finally. "There is a small chance someone has been following us since we left the dragon's lair." He stressed the word 'small' so that he was actually both lying and telling her the truth at the same time. Because the chances were far greater than small at this point. "And I just don't think any of us should go wandering off until we've figured this out" he finished seriously. But Sam did not seem to share this concern. He shook his head gently. "I'll be fine Dean" he promised. "And besides, Teddy needs food." Dean couldn't exactly argue that fact. So he threw out an alternative solution instead. "Well then I'll go" he offered. "You stay here and...keep an eye on Teddy." He looked directly at Sam, staring hard, trying to get the message to Zeke. If something supernatural was out there and did decide to make itself known, Dean needed to know that both Sam and Teddy would be safe while he was gone.
Sam gave Dean a funny look. "Why is it less dangerous for you to go out there than me" he wanted to know. It was a good question. "It's...uh..." Dean backed towards the door, wracking his brain for a good answer.
Nothing came to him.

"Someone could be following us? Hm, well I'm glad you two were on board - because I didn't feel a thing. But that is probably because I was passing out from blood loss..." She trailed off to gently stroking her stitches and she sighed heavily before glancing up at Sam as he finally spoke up after Dean.
"I am a bit hungry, yeah... but if you guys - well, we - are in potential danger - then I can wait. I suppose..." She whispered the last part, but her stomach failed her as it grumbled in protest as it desperately wanted some food. And her throat was very dry, making her voice quite hoarse as she tried to swallow, but it wasn't helping her one bit...
"Dean... to be honest, if you want a minute away from me - that's absolutely fine. You can go if you want to. Sam can stay here and play Twister or something." She chuckled softly, smirking over at Sam as she was obviously joking. Even if it was just due to her condition, she knew that Sam would probably squash her if they ever did play the game. It was one of her favorites since a teen, and she rarely ever got to play it because of her lifestyle as a hunter.

Dean still couldn't come up with a rational reason as to why he should be the one to voyage out for food in a potentially dangerous circumstance...other than the truth which he wasn't going to say even if someone dragged him over hot coals. Because the truth would mean letting Sam know he was possessed which would result most likely in him ejecting Zeke from his body and he wasn't strong enough yet to survive that. So instead of reasoning his way out of the situation, he simply switched into bossy older brother mode. "Look, I'm going, you're staying" he announced, pointing first at himself, then at Sam. "Play twister" he added, borrowing Teddy's suggestion. "Read a book. Watch tv. I don't care. I'll be back in like fifteen minutes."
This whole while, he'd been continuing to retreat. His back hit the door, letting him know he'd reached his destination, just around the same time Teddy begged him to be careful. Dean's lips twitched.
"Careful is my middle name."
